Tyler Helmond received his B.S. in Labor Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, graduating with distinction in 2006. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 2009.

He joined the firm as an intern in 2002, served as a paralegal between 2003 and 2006, and served as a law clerk between 2007 and 2009, before joining the firm as an attorney. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the American Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and he is an alumni student recruiter for Indiana University Bloomington. His work has been published in “The Champion” - the journal of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. His practice focuses primarily on criminal defense, appellate, and civil litigation.
