BIOGRAPHY

Attorney Mark C. Webb

After eight years in government service, Mark Webb returned to active practice with this firm in 2005.  His practice is concentrated in administrative law and government relations (lobbying). In his statewide practice, Mark represents numerous clients before the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, local county alcoholic beverage boards and the Indiana General Assembly.  Typical clients range from small, family owned businesses to large franchise and corporate enterprises and statewide trade associations.

Other than his state service, Mark’s entire career has been spent at this firm.  In 1997, he accepted an invitation from then-Speaker John Gregg to serve as counsel to the majority caucus for the Indiana House of Representatives. This led to various appointed key leadership roles at the Public Employees Retirement Fund (General Counsel and Acting Director), State Department of Local Government Finance (Director of Community Affairs), and the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (Hearing Judge and Executive Secretary).  With PERF and the Tax Board, Mark was principally involved in crafting sweeping legislation affecting both agencies, and working with members of the General Assembly and Governor’s staff to ensure passage of the bills.

Mark is involved in various community activities, including the Classic Car Club of America, Historic Meridian Park Neighborhood Association and Christ Church Cathedral. He and wife Lee Ann Smith have two sons.
