FRANK W. HOGAN

 
 

Frank Hogan was born and raised in Indianapolis. He graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School, earned his A.B. in Economics from Marian College and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team.  Hogan also served four years active duty with the United States Air Force, two years in the far East and one year in Europe in communications intelligence. He and his wife have three sons, one of whom practices law in New York City.


Although having served for a time as a Marion County Deputy Prosecutor, he has focused his practice principally in civil law, including real estate and zoning, family and juvenile law, wills, trusts and estates, personal injury, and small business matters. He has engaged in civil jury trials in the courts of a number of Indiana counties, including Marion County. He has also handled appeals and has represented clients in many cases before state and local administrative agencies, including plan commissions and boards of zoning appeals. He has also co-authored a continuing legal education forum article titled, Zoning and Administrative Law.


He has been a member of the Indiana and American Trial Lawyers Associations, and in his 40 year career he has served the Indianapolis community by advancing the interests of the disadvantaged. He has volunteered his services to the Johnson County Humane Society, and in 2004 he was appointed to a task force to study long-term changes to IndyGo, the Indianapolis mass transit system.
